Vodafone Sure Signal - the New Device from Vodafone to Combat Poor Signal
What is Vodafone's new Sure Signal?
An indoor base station which provides 3G coverage for areas of poor or no coverage- It provides 5 bars of 3G coverage over a 30 metre radial distance in every direction
- It allows up to 4 concurrent calls for any users who are registered on the Access Control List
- An ideal solution for Consumers and home workers who are experiencing poor, patchy 2G or 3G coverage
Some points to note……
- The device cannot be unlocked.
- It must be connected to a DSL router or office LAN to send/receive traffic to/from Vodafone’s Core Network
- Users must have a 3G phone/device to receive coverage from the device. 2G/GPRS only devices are not supported
- Each ‘Sure Signal’ has an Access Control List to ensure that only registered / authorised users get access / coverage
- The device should only be used in a home or small office locations. It has not been designed as a large office coverage solution. That will come later this year.
